I purchased this machine used from a neighbor. From day one I have had problems trying to balance the tub. When looking inside it is apparent the tub is "off." It tilts to the left. Also, I just had to replace the motor coupler. My question, how do I balance it? And, if not balanced, could this be what broke the coupler to begin with?

It's possible but not likely. Check around the outside of the tub on the bottom there should be some springs, make sure they are there and not broken or stretched out.

Thank you, but is it hard or expensive to fix the springs?

The springs are only a couple of dollars each if that's the problem. Hopefully it didn't break the mounts, that's a little more intailed. We have some of the springs, but they are in the truck so I can't tell you the part number at the moment.

P.S. Part # on springs AP3136257 Also check this spring AP2906091
