So I Got A Maytag Side By Side Fridge So It Seems The Ice Maker Line Inside The Freezer Is Getting Frozen . Looks Whats Happening Is That After It Feels The Ice Tray Water Keeps Coming From The Line So I Think Its The Valve But Not Sure.

Pasadena,

Very good educated guess.

You're probably 98% correct.

Most frozen fill tubes are caused by a "seeping" fill valve. or a water pressure problem.

When was the water filter replaced last ?

Part number: AP4343710
Part number: AP4343710

The water valve probably has a stiff diaphram or debris in the seat, causing the drip into the icemaker,

Part number: AP4071513
Part number: AP4071513

I think that should solve your leak situation,

Good Luck.

I had this same problem with my Kenmore side-by-side. I replaced the water valve and this DID NOT solve my problem. Don't know if I now need to replace the ice maker. I've posted on a separate thread but so far have not gotten a response from anyone.

In my case, the water only leaks right after the ice maker fills with water. It then stops leaking and does not start again until the next fill cycle.

Hope the valve fixes your problem.

Willis,

In your case, based on your description, I would have to think,

You've got a water pressure problem, check for clogged water filter, kink or twist in the water supply line, debris in the water supply.

You could also have air in the system check for, loose connection or loose fittings.

You didn't supply a model number, so these are basic, general checks, you should make for any refrigerator with your complaint.

Good Luck,
:) :) :)
