I have been trouble shooting my ice make by doing a lot of reading so far. THe symptom is it will make a few cubes then stop. The finished cubes remain in the tray. From what I understand it most likely means I need to replace the ice maker. My main question is the flashing red light - when I unblock the photo cell and manually push the closed door switch the light goes out. Is that the way it should work. It seems that somewhere I read the light should be on solid red. Mine simply goes out. I wanted to be sure that wasnt my problem before I order the maker. Could you also point me to the part I need. (Which Maker)
