Hi,
What part do I replace or just oil. We are getting a persistant squeek when the dry is running.

Look and see if there's a small plate on the back of the dryer, in the middle of the tumbler. If so, that's where you can apply a dab of light (lithium) grease. It won't take much. If that doesn't silence it, you'll need to replace the bearing.

Hi,
Thanks for the great advice. I opened up the plate and had to move the little piece of flat metal that was touching the tip of the shaft to one side.

I put the (lithium) grease on the spindel at the back of the dryer where the lock washer is. Reatached the little strip of metal, put the plate back on and started it up. Two squeeks and then it became quiet.

Eureka!!!
