I have a Bosch Dishwasher model SHU9955UC/U12, it is about 7 or 8 years old. The spring loaded soap dispenser cover won't stay closed. It looks like the cup latch and door tab connect points are too worn to properly engage. Should I replace the entire soap dispenser assembly (part AP3844311 $57.21) or just the cup latch with spring (part AP2802332 $4.44) and/or detergent door (part AP2802328 $22.15)? It is not so much cost is it is ease of replacement and importance of fixing it right on the first try. Also if I replace the entire assembly should I also order the assembly gasket (part AP2802339 $5.87) or is it included? Thanks for your help!

The new dispenser door and the cup latch should fix the problem if the rails on the dispenser body are not damaged. Otherwise the whole dispenser should be replaced as an assembly. The gasket is included. The instructions are attached to the reply. All part numbers you posted are correct. Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for Bosch SHU9955 UC/12 (FD 8105 -) | AppliancePartsPros.comGene.
