Jason, In order to provide most accurate advice we need the complete model number of the refrigerator. The Model Number Locator may help you to find it. Gene.

I have a whirlpool, and the Model # is ed2chqxoo7 and serial # su4145854 and i think i might know what it is know but cant be to sure. on the back of the frieg were the water comes in the are a blue/red filter looking thing and i am getting water to the despencer but like i said before no ice. So i took the lines off the red one which is the ice lines and there is no water going to it. on either end. Could that be the filter problem or electrical problem?

Jason, Sorry for the delay. Make sure the water feeding tube into the ice maker is not frozen. Locate the water inlet valve on the back of the refrigerator (#6 on the diagram). Swap the wires between the solenoids and press the water dispenser release lever for a few seconds. Check if there is water in the ice maker. If there is no water, replace the water inlet valve. If there is water, replace the ice maker. - The water inlet valve Part number: AP3890554
