My dishwasher from Magic Chef came with the house i bought, i have hardly used it. i just realized that there is a very tiny leak at the bottom, right under the motor in the center. please advice what could be wrong and how can i fix/repair it. thanking you in advance.

actually, i noticed that it only leaks when water drains out during the cycles, that is, after wash cycle, rinse cycle and in the end.......there is no leak while water is filling....i hope this helps. if someone can at least advice me if it's worth to get it repaired. thank you.

Perhaps you can narrow it down using a flashlight and a small mirror. The mirror that mechanics use is ideal it is a small mirror on and extendable handle. With luck you can trace it back from where it is dripping and find the cause. Could be something as simple as a loose clamp. I would not put a lot of dollars into this unit as it is very old and it looks like the parts are expensive. |
