Top loading washer. I need to clean the machine. After removing the agitator, I have removed the nut holding the drum, how do I remove the drum? Can I spray some WD40 / Q20 to loosen it up?

Spray some WD-40 on the threads, then screw the nut back on 1/2 way, lift up on the front rim of the spin basket, then pound down on the nut with a hammer, should break free.
