Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/30/2010(UTC) Posts: 1		I have an Amana TR21VW fridge and the evaporator fan is not getting any power. I tried to bypass the defrost thermostat with a jumper wire, but the fan is still not getting any power. While I'm doing this testing, the compressor motor is running and so is the condenser fan. Any ideas on what to try next?

It controls the heater shut off. [COLOR="Blue"]While I'm doing this testing, the compressor motor is running and so is the condenser fan[/COLOR]. Since they are running so should the evaporator fan as it is wired in parallel with these components. [COLOR="Blue"]Any ideas on what to try next?[/COLOR] All I can think of is that you have a broken wire or bad connection in the wires going to the fan. Note: I am assuming that you are using a meter to check for AC voltage at the fan.
