Dryer was running and stopped. Drum light turns on when you open the door. The dryer and clothes in the dryer were warm not hot. No circuit breaker tripped. Checked the start switch it functions. Door switch functions. I don't see a thermal fuse or switch. Is there one? Is it the timer? I tried to turn all switches to see if any location would allow for it to start, timer, temp, alert, start etc. nothing happens.

More info. I did locate the thermal switch, the high temp sensor and the heater coil. All checked out ok. When the start switch is pushed the timer or something in that vicinity clicks.

You have a bad thermal on the blower housing if the lint screen pulls out the top it will be oblong whit plastic thermal fastened to housing that you hook the vent hose on if the lint screen is inside the door the thermal will be on under lint screen it is also white in color to skinny wires attached to it
