Hello, I Have A Whirpool Conquest, I Have Water Coming Thru The Dispenser But Ice Make Stop Making Ice. I Think That There Is Not Water Getting To The Ice Maker. Could It Be That The Inlet Valve For The Ice Is Not Working? Any Sugestions What Could Be The Problem? Thank Yoy

Here are some easy troubleshooting tips First verify the Ice Mold is full or empty reach your hand up there and feel for ice. If there is no ice force cycle the icemaker. If its mounted to the side and the bucket needs pulled out to empty remove white front cover of icemaker take a piece of wire and bare both ends jumper T & H if contact is made sometimes you have to jiggle wire, the ejector rod starts to moveremove wire when you hear a click rod will be about 4 oclock position. after it comes 3/4 around to home position the valve powers up and fills. if it does the valve is good if not either the module is bad or the bi-metal inside ice maker head is bad to determine which one is when yopu jumper it and the ejector rod moves its the bi netal if it doesn't move it's the module If Ice bucket is in door a different test needs doneto do that you pull out I/m remove cover put jumper close door for 5 seconds open door remove wire. sometimes you have to put it ina diagnostics to cycle it
