I can look down into the pump/motor of my dishwasher and see a broken piece of glass and a twist tie. I want to remove them as my machine seems to be stuck on the wash cylce forever. I removed the lower washer arm but I am unsure of what to do next.

This website doesn't have your parts breakdown, but you can go to searspartsdirect put in your model number and see the breakdown on the unit.

Thanks, I will check there. I was able to get the twist tie out with a crochet hook but the glass is still down there. Perhaps I will resort to chewing gum.
