Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 10/8/2008(UTC) Posts: 4		I have a gas dryer that seems to be heating only on low, even when I switch the control knob. I have spare parts from a dryer that worked fine but the motor crapped out on. I have clear air flow. I have tried replacing the thermostats and coils and it still functions the same. Is it possible that the heat selector is malfunctioning? I have an entire burner assembly if I need to switch them out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Wally

Also make sure the vent to the outside is perfectly clean and clear. if all of that don't do it then the cycling thermostat probably needs replacement.
