Hello out there!
My dishwasher is leaving a film on the items on the top tray. I can re-wash the whole bunch with the same results. I am not using too much detergent (I use Cascade regular) I have tried more and less detergent with the same results. I have ran a "Quick rinse" right after the cycle with no joy. The only way they come clean is when I toss in a cup of vinegar during the rinse cycle. I have tried dishwasher cleaner and ran numerous cycles with vinegar to clean the works but no help. It SEEMS that the top sprayer is working but am not positive since I cannot see while the washer is operating. Hope someone can help!

Thanks

Test the temperature of your hot water. You need about 140 deg. F for a good wash result. If you have that at the tap, try to run it for a few seconds, before starting your dish washer. Since you say you've run vinegar, I wouldn't suspect dirty wash-arm jets.

Hello Magician59!
I do heat the water right before I wash. It seems the upper rack is most affected though the bottom is also to a lesser degree. It seems to be a film of some sort. If you take a clean damp towel & wipt the items it does not remove the stuff. Far as I know there is no change in my water. Is there any way to cycle the thing with the door open? Maybe the top sprayer is not working? I know this would be a bit messy but maybe I could see what's happening?
Thanks for your response!
