I Am Looking For Some Directions On How To Replace The Front Door Gasket. I Purchased Part Ap4010226. Are There Other Parts Needed For This Replacement? Do I Simply Pull Off The Old One And Fit In The New One? Will This Solve The Mold Smell?

Here is the parts breakdown
Replacement parts for MAYTAG MAH5500BWW Washer - Horizontal Axis | AppliancePartsPros.com

Here is a manual

It may reduce it but you have to do regular maintenance (Afresh etc.) to kleep it to a minimum.
Many people just leave the door open but this may not be possible for you.

Here is what Maytag says bout a smelly front load.
