I've seen great info on the replacement modules in this forum. My countdown timer is hanging and I have a replacement module coming in tomorrow.

My question: Do I need to pull the whole outer door apart by removing the T-20 Torx screws located on each side of the inner stainless door, or is there a way to just get at the fascia panel. I can't quite tell from the diagrams and I haven't figured out a way to do anything to the module without disassembling the whole door.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, you do have to remove the outer door panel and the fascia panel to replace the control module. You can find the complete instructions in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...86-bosch-dishwasher.html

Here are the break down diagrams for the Bosch dishwasher Model SHU5315 UC/12 (FD 8003-)

Thank you. The repair went very well. I appreciate your help. (I was surprised to see how many plastic pieces, clips, etc. the "professional" who replaced the last module had broken.) It's nice to know that there is support for those of us who'd rather do it right, ourselves.

You're welcome. We are glad you were able to fix it.
