Hello! First off I am assuming I need to replace the belt. The dryer runs quiet when empty, but squeals when loaded. If you all think this is the problem, then how do I go about getting to and changing the belt???

Your dryer's drum rides on plastic slides. When they get thin they start making metal to metal contact.If you wait too long to replace them then it will be costly. They do not cost that much and are easily replaced. You must get the front off to inspect them. SublimeMasterJW attached the following image(s):
