My gas dryer will light when it has been sitting for greater than 6-8 hrs. and will dry normally. If i try to start a second load it will nopt light. All vents are clean and the interior has been completely vaccumed out. Gas supply is good and the dryer will tumble but not light all the time.

Replace the coils on the gas valve. It is a real easy repair. Just take the 2 screws off that hold the bracket in place, and then pull the coils off. The parts are dirt cheap. This is definetly worth the repair. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
