I have this entire machine taken apart and I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to get to the tub seal. Anyone have a manual for this machine or have any tips on how to separate the inner tub from the outer tub to get to the seal?

Keep removing parts, your not there yet!!!! remove the agitator, remove the large tub nut (4notchs in it) remove the wash tub, the tub seal is now visible in the center of the plastic tub!!! Remove the hose between tub and pump, remove the 3 screws that hold the springs and tub to the baseplate, remove the plastic tub and seal, Install a new seal into the tub, and slide the tub and seal down over the shaft and put it ALL back together!!!

Rare these tub seals fail! Make sure the problem is the seal, may be a cut in the tub from a nail in the spin basket.

I don't think the tub is damaged. The water seems to be coming from where that seal is. At any rate, I can't remove the tub nut. Which way does it turn? I'm sure I don't have the proper tool, but if you have any suggestions on removing it without the proper tool I'd be very appreciative!

The nut is a right hand thread, turn it counterclockwise. Try soaking the nut in penetrating oil.
