Hello,

My KitchenAid Dishwasher stop working couple weeks ago. All of a sudden, no lights come on or nothing turns on.

I have power to the outlet.

Someone told that the front panel needs to be replaced.

My question is do I need to replace the front panel (no. 1), the control board (no. 11), or both?

Thanks for the help.

I would check the fuse first (part #8269213) If you have an ohm meter you can check that!!

I made a mistake. Sorry. Here are the correct symtoms:

1) All of the lights come on if I press the buttons except the normal and hi-scrub lights.
2) When I press the start button, nothing happens.

Do I need to replace the electronic control board or the front panel or both?

Thanks.

Johnny

Hi Johnny,

In my opinion the problem is a bad console aka control panel with very small chance for the control board to be bad too. I would begin with the control panel.

If you need our help to find the right part number, we need the color of the control panel.

Hi - I have a Kitchen Aid Quiet Scrub (white) and I believe that I need a new control panel. My unit only works with the Soak and Scrub option, no other selection lights come on when the button(s) are pressed.

Can someone give me instructions on how to remove the control panel?

I see the part I need is out of stock

What is the complete model number of the dishwasher?

In order to check the part availability you can call the customer service 877-477-7278

Thanks for the reply Gene. Where can I find the model number? I just bought the house and I don't have any literature on the dishwasher. I do know that the control panel looks exactly like AP2921062, therefore I'm thinking that the model is KUDM25SHBL1.

Model KUDM25SHBL1

Chris,

You can find the model number on the door frame. We really need it.
