We put a new timer but that did not fix the problem. What else would cause this problem. We just moved so I so need my washer to be working. Someone please help!

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		Unless the water level switch determines that the proper water level has been reached the machine will not go into the agitation mode. Take off the cold water hose, set the machine to start and engage the timer. Turn on the water from the hose and fill the tub and see if the machine starts to agitate when the water level gets the appropriate level. If so, put it on rinse to empty and check to see if power is getting to the valve assembly. If not, try changing out the water level switch.
