My ceramic top stove which is less than a month old got scratched. What can I do to repair the scratch, will this affectthe cooking time, should I avoid using this particular element? I used Frigidaire's suggested polish cleaner but did help. Any suggestion.

Depends on how deep the scratch marks are.

The polish is more of a preventative measure and provides a protective coat. It doesn't do much as far as cleaning.
