Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/18/2010(UTC) Posts: 1		I have the new element, took out the screws, tried to pull the element out, but it does not want to come through. Is this a model that needs to be taken out of the wall to unhook the wires before the element will come out?:confused:

Looks to me that old broiler element has to be unscrewed from back of oven , but bake element can be replaced from front of oven. Just my opinion since I cannot get an answer from Thermador.:mad:
