fridge will work for three to four days perfectly then stops. fan can still be heard. when the fridge stops working the water dispenser stops working.( that's how we can tell it's not cooling. unplug the fridge for twenty to thirty minutes and when you plug it back in it will work for another three to four days.

Sounds like it's frosting up in the freezer evap coils. It's possible that there is a door leak, allowing excessive moisture to freeze on the coils... OR... the defrost cycle is defective... no defrost timer motor, or the heater coil could be open, or the defrost thermostat is open.
