LLahare, You may have a seized or clogged drain pump, stalling the motor, You could have a bad motor, not operating due to damaged interior component(s) or timer, not supplying power to the motor. Do you know how to access the drain pump and motor assemblies? A model number would help us direct you.

Bad motor winding or loose wire at motor. Bad timer contact or wire not supplying power to motor. I would start at a seized or clogged drain pump. based on your basic description. Good Luck, :) :) :)

HELP!!   You will need to open the control panel and tilt it back against the wall. ( screw in the corners of the control panel securing panel to washer top). With panel up, remove the two large spring clips securing the top to the back panel. Slide the cabinet and top out(towards you) a few inches and disconnect the lid switch harness, slide the cabinet assembly off the frame and out of the way. The pump is mounted to the motor with two spring clips, remove clips and slide pump off motor shaft. Check to see or feel pump shaft for easy movement in both directions, Disconnect hoses and check for clogs, articles stuck . Let us know what you find, :) :) :)
