Dryer takes 2-3 cycles to dry. I have checked the voltage at the plug 240VAC L1-L2 and 120VAC L1 or L2 to Gnd. I cleaned the lint from the vent duct and the inside of the dryer. There was minimal lint. I drilled a small hole (5/32”) in duct at the back of the dryer and inserted a thermometer. The discharge temp with the cloths almost dry is approximately 165˚ F. There appears to be a good air discharge at the wall vent. Any ideas would be appreciated.

did you by chance check the blower fan while you had it apart some of these will crack around the retainer clip and slip on motor shaft , other than that i would guess a blockage in vent ... hope this helps

The fan assy is where I was going next although it sure seems to have good air volume. Thanks for the help. I will let you know what I find.

If the dryer is clean and the parts are all good then it can only be the contacts on the inside of the dryer timer. This timer carrys a lot of electrical load from the heater and will develop a burr between the contacts inside the timer. Simply remove the 2 screws that hold the motor and gently take the timer apart. Get a file and smooth down the dryer contacts. Take your time and save some moolah! :) :D

The ducting was clear both inside the dryer and to the outside. The problem was with the fan. When I opened the housing, apx 1/3 of the fan blades were clogged with lint. I also pulled $7.53 in change from the fan and surrounding area. I guess the reason that the change wasn't making any noise was because the lint cushioned it. Thanks for your suggestions guys. PN.
