The vent that goes into the soap dispensor on my dishwasher does notcompletely engage in the dispensor. The o ring that is on the end of the vent is at least a 1/4 inch away from seating in the soap dispenser side vent.
There does not seem to be any movement available to move the condensation vent pipe closer to the dispenser and get it completely inserted. It is as though the condensation pipe vent has shrunk over the years. Also, this is a problem that has shown up over the past couple of months and I originally thought it was a damaged bottom seal.
How do I remove the condensation vent pipe? It seam firmly attached in some way that is not obvious.
Thank you,
Tony Mongillo

Hi Tony, You have to look into it more careful because the new part comes just with a few wire ties to install it. It has to be removed somehow and do not be afraid to damage the old part. - The condensation tube Part number: AP3954178

Gene,
Thanks for the quick reply.
The vent plastic molded piece is formed to fit to the front door plate and does not move from side to side at all. Since this problem only started a couple of months ago, after 9 years of operation, I think it has shrunk.
I'll give a new part a try.
Thank you,
Tony
