Here are your parts Replacement parts for FRIGIDAIRE FRT18B4AW2 Frigidaire/refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.comCheck that the control in the freezer is set correctly. It is the one that controls fresh food section temperature. Regulates the amount of air going into the fresh food section. Check the temperature in the freezer, should be 0 to 5 degrees F. Often the freezer seems OK but it's actual temperature is higher than it should be. Is the unit cycling on/off. If always on you may have a freon problem or a defrost problem. Remove the evaporator cover from inside the freezer section and check the evaporator coils. If heavily iced/frosted over you have a defrost problem. If there is only frost in one area or it is blotchy you probably have a freon issue. |

Thank you!
The control in the freezer is set on the coolest position. Than the temperature in the freezer can be 0 to 5 degrees. What position is correct?
The unit cycling is on/off. The evaporator coils is not heavily iced. The wind to the refrigerator is not feel very cool even I put the control to coolest position.

Also check that the opening between the freezer and fridge is not blocked by any thing. |

Well, I can see that this is a while back, but I'll answer anyway.
The cold setting in the freezer controls a slide or turning air damper, if set on the coldest position it directs LESS air into the refrigerator (cooler) section, so it should be left on normal or "cold" setting NOT coldest.
If the Cooler section is not cold enough when left on the coldest setting, then check to see if the the cooler cycles off after time, if it does you may have a bad temperature control which is turning cooling off too soon. You will need a technician to check this and verify that you do not have larger refrigeration issues.
Hope that helps.
