In the last couple weeks our Kenmore dishwasher seems to leave a soap residue on the dishes. We can't see it, but we can taste it...especially in any plastic containers. We have not changed brands of soap. All equipment sounds normal while running and appears to be cycling as it should. Is one of the pumps wearing out? What else could cause this? Thanks

Put about a quart of white vinegar let it fill and run for a few minutes then stop and let it set for about 10 minutes. Then restart for a couple of minutes stop for 10 minutes. Do this 2 or three times then let it complete the cycle.
Then try it as normal with dishes and see if that helps.
