We started getting an F2 or F3 fault code on our Caloric RST376 gas range about a week ago. Everything I have read says that the F2 or F3 fault code means there is a problem with the temperature sensor. Today I replaced the sensor, but when my wife tried to clean the oven we got another F3 code. We have gotten the code when using the timer while the oven is off, which leads me to believe the problem is some other component.

Has anyone experienced this problem or have an idea on what I should do?

The F2 code means the oven got too hot & to replace the oven realy board. F3 is for the sensor, check your connections between the sensor & control board.
You can view the fault codes here Appliance Fault Codes, Caloric was made by Maytag.

I rechecked all the connections and it seems to be working now.

Thanks
