I was given a little rockstar mini-fridge used by bars, stores, etc. The compressor and coils are on the top with a fan that cools the coils and compressor. However, the fan was not working so the compressor was not cooling and overheating. i am trying to figure out a replacement for the fan.

I need some help with wiring. The fan had two black wires that went into the fan. 1 wire is 115 volts and the other was averaging 2 volts. The fan was grounded with a green ground wire.

What can I do to replace the fan? The fridge works great with a house fan on it but that defeats the purpose of a little fridge. Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

I have a replacement condensor fan for sale in this thread specifically for energy drink mini fridges. It came out of a Red Bull fridge.

The easiest thing to do is remove the fan and find the model number of the fan. Then spend some time on google to find replacement that is the same dimensions as the one you have. Fan sizing is pretty standardized so you should be able to find a replacement for under $20.
