Our Whirlpool Stove & Oven (Model No GW395LEPQ02) burners will not ignite. The problem occurred immediately following a small pot of boiling water that tipped and spilled towards the front of the oven towards the keypad/control panel.

Shortly after the spill, the display showed an error code F2 E0 (which I understand suggests a short circuit in the control board). I was able to clear the error code by pressing Cancel.

After some time the key pad would not respond to any input, so I unplugged the stove for over 1 hr to reset. When I plugged it back in the readout began to flash and the keypad was not responsive to any input. I then unplugged stove overnight. When I plugged it back in the next day the display, clock and touchpad worked fine. The issue remaining is that when we turn the oven on or any of the four top stove burners that they do not ignite or spark although gas is released.

At some point, I did remove the control panel to let it air out and inspect for any visible damage. There was no visible moisture or damage.

I'm assuming the control panel needs to be replaced however I would appreciate any/all input to ensure that this will fix the ignition issue given that the touchpad, clock and display seem to be working fine.

Many Thanks,

Sergio

Sergio,
By looking at your parts breakdwon and from your description. I am going to say that the water that was spilled probably shorted the spark ignitor and harness part # AP3673276
This is a break down of a similar unit (not the exact one but very close to see what I'm talking about) Model GW395LEGZ3 it's #9 on cooktop & burner parts.

Thanks for the quick response. I was not able to locate part # AP3673276 in Whirlpool parts however the link that was sent points to a Broil Tubing (Oven Part). Are we sure that this would fix my stove burners and oven not igniting?

If you type the AP part number in the parts line it will pull up the harness. The breakdown you have to go to the cooktop page (page #3).

I can now see how the harness might fix the top burners however will this also fix the oven as well as it is also not sparking/igniting?

It may have shorted the control board as well, thru the wire harness. Try checking all the connectors on the harness & control board.
