Howdee all. My dryer appears to be leaving marks-- light brownish-- on clothes. My wife is calling them burn marks. The other posts that I've read on the topic is saying that it's caused by a missing strip in the front of the tub/barrel. The from doesn't appear to be missing any felt strip, or otherwise. The back however looks like there's a gap of approx. 1/4-3/8 of an inch from the 12:30 to 3:20 location-- aka upper right quadrant of the back. The marks are approx. that width as well. One discussion I read states that it could be the washer as well. It's model is GHW9150PW4. These are the Duets by Whirlpool. The last discussion on he washer was about black marks. THese are definitely NOT black marks.

Ok, in attemptingto go back and correct my spelling errors, I've found that I cannot edit the text once I've typed it, unless I'm willing to erase everything I've typed afterwards, and retype the entire post from the error's location forward-- this is really counter-productive. Could forum mgmt please rectify this so that we can edit mid-post without having to redo the entire contents? Thank you. E.g. I can't even fix the attempingto without erasing everything back to there. That's ridiculous.
