Mfg #P1131631NWW. Neither burner on one of the modules will light. When the bad one is installed with the other module out installed I hear a slight spark and the gas is flowing, but no ignition. When both modules are installed the bad side no longer sparks at all and the good side sparks when the oposite side is turned on. I was told this is a bad spark module.

WR,

I would have to agree with the previous diagnosis, provided you have a proper power supply to the unit.

(120 volt,15 amp, polarized and grounded outlet).

I've attached the part you need,

A spark module test and explanation of operation.

Sevice Manual, for reference and diagram(just in case).

Good Luck,

Part number: AP4041378
Part number: AP4041378

Spark Module
When operating, the spark module repeatedly produces
a spark at the ignitor accompanied by a sharp snapping
sound until burner ignites.
1. Turn off gas and power supply to unit.
2. Check wiring diagram to verify all terminals and wire
connections are correct and tight with no cuts in the
wiring.
3. Attach meter leads on spark module terminals L and
N.
4. Turn power supply back on.
5. Turn top burner to LITE position.
6. If no voltage is present on the meter, this will indicate
the electrical circuit is interrupted before the spark
module.
7. If voltage is present, then check ignitor.

8. If ignitors are OK; then replace spark module.
