The dial on our dishwasher gets stuck. It started with it occasionally getting stuck in one spot but now sticks at a number of places. We cannot determine if we need a new timer or not. We cannot afford to purchase what we do not need. Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you. If this was posted before, I apologize but I cannot find it to see if there were any answers.

Remove the toe panel and check for continuity the heating element and the high limit thermostat (#29 on the diagram). If there is nothing wrong, replace the timer. - The high limit thermostat Part number: AP2109201

Thank you for your help in finding out if the timer was the problem. It is. Sorry for the late thank you but it is hard to get my husband at a job like this. Thanks again. KayAnn
