Hi APP,
My Bosch dishwasher keeps pausing endlessly at two positions on the dial.
The first position is just before the wash cycle and the second is just before the rinse cycle. I went ahead and replaced the timer but that didn't solve the problem.
Does anyone know what might be causing this or more importantly how to resolve it?
Many thanks!!!

It sounds like a no heat problem. Your D/W will not wash until the water temp reaches 140 degrees. It will not rinse until the water temp hits 160 degrees. The most common reason for no heat is a bad solder joint on the control board. Remove the board. Take the plastic casing off. Inspect the back-side of the board closely. If you find a bad solder joint you can try resoldering. I don't know how long that will last but a soldering iron is much cheaper, and faster than a new board.
