Our Whirlpool washing machine will not spin everytime it is suppose to. After machine has shut off or went thru it's complete cycle, if it did not spin, we will move control knob around to final rinse and restart washing machine, sometimes this has to be done 2 or 3 times in order to get it to spin. Machine is model 3LSQ9548LW3

Start by checking the lid switch. Jumper it out. Here is a site that will show you how. Note, your console screws may be in a different location than this.
