my refrigerator keeps running and doesnt seem to shut off, the temp inside seems ok, didnt really notice any frost on the inside....

Check your temp control. That's usually what solves that problem. Nat

...or check your thermostat (the one clamped to your evaporator coils inside and behind the freezer wall). It could also be your Condenser Coils (the one outside on the bottom rear by the compressor next to the fan) for debris such as lint, dust and/or hair if you have pets. If so, buy a condenser brush and remove the excess build up, this might solve your problem and hopefully you won't need to buy that thermostat.
