My refer compressor burnt out. I have a brand new kit but it is a GE part wr87x10095 compressor. It is the same size and shape of the sub zero one. Can it be used to replace mine and/or what specs must I compare to be sure it will work properly as a replacement? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

It's possible to use that other compressor if it is the same size process tubes are on the correct side and it's the same amps and everything.

Although you do have to have it changed by a EPA certified tech, unless you happen to be one don't try it. It's a hefty fine!
