Hello,

My Jenn-Air dishwasher worked fine yesterday. Today, there is no display at all on the control panel. I have verified that there is power through the pigtail.

From looking at the wiring diagram, there is a switch on the door latch that appears to shut down everything; however, I really don't want to tear eveything apart if there is something that is more likely.

Any ideas?

i would go with the door latch. That tiny part can make lots of headaches! Part number is AP403933. You can test it first.

Thanks for the response. I pulled the door apart and checked the door latch micro-switches; they were fine. I then closed the latch to verify that the micro-switches were being activated; they looked fine. While I was at it, I decided to verify that power was making it through the switches - it was; however, when I set down my VOM down on the right side of the door, I heard an arc from the circuit board located there.

Turns out there are two relays on that board that were NOT soldered to the board. Didn't look like they ever had been. Re-soldered the relays and all is well.

Thanks again for your response.
