I have had no problems with this dishwasher ever. Its about 10 yrs old and still works great. Now I have a issue with the water not coming in but it still starts up. Any suggestions? Thanks

Here are your parts Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL KUDI24SEWH2 | AppliancePartsPros.comHere is the tech sheet http://www.servicematters.com/docs/wiring/Tech%20Sheet%20-%209743409.pdfRemove the kick plate and check that the overflow switch is activated. Sometimes dirt etc. can hold it's float in the up position so the unit thinks it is already full of water. Check for 120 volts across the fill valve when the unit should be filling. If the voltage is there either: 1. The valve is shot. 2. The filter screen on the input side of the valve is clogged. Remove the valve from the machine and check/clean the screen. Do not permanently remove the screen as it is there to keep crud out of the valve which could hold it open and cause a flood. Check for 120 volts across the valve/overfill switch combo. If there is voltage then perhaps the switch is toast. If there is no voltage it could be a bad control board or a bad wire from the board. |
