hi, like the title says, the machine won't spin/empty when it gets to that point in the cycle.

i'm guessing it could be the pump, but wouldn't i hear some sound (motor) when the machine should be draining? also, if it is the pump, why wouldn't the machine spin?

My best guess from your description is that you either have an obstruction in the pump (not allowing it to drain) or your lid switch is broken.
