Please help as I am going spare! Our Whirpool / Ikea DWH C10 W has an intermittent fault. It is 'stuck' making a grinding noise as if it is stuck trying to drain or something. Resetting the cycle does nothing - as soon as you switch it on, the whirring / grinding noise starts and will not stop until it's switched off. It will not wash or anything, but it will drain water ok if you poor some in then reset the cycle. I am wondering if is a faulty sensor of some kind? This dishwasher has does this before, then the problem mysteriously goes away after a few days. However it's been stuck for a week now. The dishwasher has no display so it does not have error codes or anything. Can anyone help? Thanks, Matt Ginsoakedboy21@gmail.com

Found the answer on another forum.
It was the flood prevention sensor. Some greasy water had got in the bottom part. Pulled the dishwasher out, tipped forward, water poured out (only an egg cup full) problem solved.

Please look on the dishwasher around the frame(after opening the door) to locate the tag with the model & serial number listed. The one you have posted doens't work. Nat
