Okay, well, you all got me steered the right direction and got the clothes washer fixed, so I'm hoping for the same luck here...

for the 2nd time (both recently and never before that we can tell), our dish washer has ended up with water in the bottom of the tub when it hasn't been used for a while (about 10 days this time) and a pool of water in front of it like it had leaked out from around the door.

When I hit the Cancel/drain button it drains the water just fine. The washer has been in the exact same place for 8+ years, and never a hitch, now all the sudden this has started.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Dave

Okay ... overnight the dishwasher collected about a quarter inch of water in the tub. The Drain function works fine, but I expect that if I didn't drain it every other day I'd get leakage. So, if a dishwasher that works properly otherwise, slowly collects water in the tub when it isn't used, what is the issue?

Thanks
Dave

Well shoot. no replies, so I'll order a new inlet valve and hope that does it. Must be vacation time ;)
