I start it and hear water filling. When it starts to wash I hear the water shooting around for a minute and the it's gone and I just hear the pump running. open the door and all the waters gone. I tried adding a couple gallons of hor water and close the door. Starts to wash and within a minute it's back to no water in the bottom. I can hear the pump running and a little water gurgling in the pump after the water is gone.. Add more water does the same. I tried holding the diverter valve lever down and adding water, it does the same thing.

Does sound like a problem with the flapper.
Perhaps something is stuck in that area and the flapper cannot close properly.
Also it may have come loose from the shaft.
