Dogs are gone.

I pulled the agitator, stood on flat part pulled to remove top...IT WONT COME APART!! an
Any suggestions?

Put both feet on the bottom of agitator and yank up, should come off.

Another thread suggested soaking the whole thing in some HOT water. Then the yanking procedure worked well for many with the same frustration.

I tried it today. Soaked both pieces in a big sink with HOT water for 10 minutes. They pulled apart with very little effort after months of trying to figure out what special tool would be required to get the job done. duh!
