How do I know if the motor is bad? The belt looks good and is in place, tub fills and drains, but agitator doesn't move and tub doesn't spin.

See if you see an error code which is flashing lights on the inverter which is on the motor. Before doing anything reset it using the instructions in the site below. More often or not that will fix things. HydroWave GE Washer Repair Guide

Thanks for the reply, here's what I know now; The lid switch checks good, the fuse was blown (replaced), the fuse is holding, open/close lid 7 times. I have no LED on the motor/inverter that I can find. I belive the motor/inverter must be bad, but I hate spending the money to find out that's not the problem. Where is the best place to order a motor from?? Thanks again....Bill

We who reply on this Forum are not part of the APP parts operations but I think APP has the best prices, best delivery costs and best returns policy.
It may be that your mode shifter is bad, but that should generate error codes, so you may be correct in your diagnosis of the motor. If you order the motor/inverter from APP and it does not fix your machine you can return it for a refund. See the returns policy before you order.
