There doesn't seem to be enough water pressure to adequately engage the upper spray arms. Bottom spray arms are working, the middle arms are barely working, and the upper arms are not working at all. The pump motor checks out okay. The pump appears to be in like new condition. The control board appears to be okay, but has not been tested. Entire system has been disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled with no improvement.

Did you check the chopper assembly (#6 on the break down diagram)? If you did not then the problem, most likely, is there. Here are the break down diagrams for the Kitchen Aid dishwasher Model KUDP01FLSS1Gene.

I have the same problem with a KUDP01DLBS3 Kitchen Aid. I took it all the way down...the grinder area is fine...and still have the same problem. I'm thinking of getting the whole sump/motor assy, #14 on here Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL KUDP01FLSS1 | AppliancePartsPros.com, and keeping the other unit for parts. Anyone else have an idea first??? Jim
