Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/24/2010(UTC) Posts: 6		My dishwasher is having the common "soap dispenser not opening" problem. I decided to replace the entire soap dispenser, but ran into couple of problems. 1. I managed to get the old dispenser out, but am having problem getting the new one to latch. I've done everything other than standing on the dispense to shove it into the inner door enough for the plastic tab to latch over the sheet metal tabs, but I cannot get the dispenser to go in far enough for this to happen. help! 2. when I unscrewed the front panel off, the black door spacer fell out before I had a chance to see how it was intalled... how do I put this back? Model number: Bosch SHU66C02UC /14

In case anyone searches for this topic, this is what we ended up doing: calling the professional to install it for us. He did it in 10min! unblelievable. we tried everything.. even resorting to clamps and 2x4's trying to squeeze the dispenser into the socket so the metal tabs will engage. no go. the pro came, and basically just squeezed it in.. and it went in. He did slightly bend the sheet metal flap (where the tabs are located) into the dispenser opening so it is leaning in a bit more, but otherwise just used his fingers. amazing.
