:confused: GE side by side. Water/Ice Dispenser in the freezer door only dispenses water, not the ice. When the ICE dispensing buttons are hit the light goes dim (like a short). The disp board was replaced yesterday. Is it the mother board or could it be a switch or solenoid?

[FONT='Times New Roman']This is almost always going to be the main board. What happens is the low voltage side of the board will drop very low when you attempt to dispense ice. I have been told that this is due to a faulty capacitor on the main board. The important thing is that the main board is bad. [/FONT]
